What is blythe? probably the question you'll ask when you read the title.If you guys notice my profile pic. you'll see the black and white pic. of a girl with big head and bugsy eyes..that is blythe. It's a fashion doll made in the '70s by designer Allison Katzman for US market.The distinct feature of this doll was her big head and eyes that could open and close its eyes.
This cool doll was being marketed only for a year then she died (the company decided to stop the production) . People thought blythe was too scary for children, there's something quirky, mysterious-dark thing with this doll (which amazingly i think that's what makes her awesome).

Anyway, this doll can survive because there's this girl, named Gina Garan that shared the same view with me or any other blythe fans out there that think the doll is totally awesome.So, she started collecting Blythe and took picture of it in different styles. Then fashion lovers actually fell for those pictures and it was the reincarnation of Blythe and the new era of blythe we know today. I give u some pics of blythe (I really love them!!)
